A file with South Korea's National Radio Research Agency (RRA), which certifies gear marketed globally, implies that AMD's Radeon RX 6750 XT may be on the way.... A Listing Indicates the Arrival of the AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT
Its strange amd didnt confirm anything so close to the release. I guess overclocking memory on a existing product and calling it new isnt so exciting.
During the Fury and Vega era AMD's extra strong marketing and hype building ended up backfiring. During the 5000 series the marketing was considerably more conservative, which was also understandable due to the lack of a real flagship product. Now they have one, in the 6000 series, but I personally think they still kept the marketing toned down and did what they could to avoid excessive hype. So, these kind of minor versions with marginal performance advantages going without extravagant marketing would be natural, if I'm indeed correct. But then again, nobody actually needed to invest heavily in GPU marketing during the mining craze.
If the difference is just an increase in memory bandwidth of 2GT/s, then the performance increase will be minor. Maybe something around 5%, at best. Not much to brag about in the GPU market.
Exactly. And nVidia didn't even bother to make a fuss about it's launch. They didn't even send cards to most reviewers.
this is a nice refresh at a demanding spot in the market. now that the adrenaline drivers are more mature for 6xxx this should be a tasty treat. it'll be interesting stacking it against the 3070ti as both seem to be great 1440p cards.
