I have the most fond memories of Interstate '76. It's a shame it's not able to run flawless these days. It could really do with a remaster.

Finished Dungeon Keeper 2 last week for the first time, despite owning it since 1999 and playing it many many times.

Not sure what to play next. I attempted Grim Fandango a while back, but had enough once i reached the harbor part. Maybe i should try it again and have some more patience.

talking about vampire masquerade games?? I need digital copies of them seeing I dont feel like plug my optical drive back in to my pc, but I still have huge lore book/manual from the first masquerade. I was not fan of bloodlines but that was mostly cause of how broke/buggy the game was well by standards of broke and buggy back then.

    Black and White
    Driver
    Return to castle wolfenstien'
    Dungeon keeper 2

Jedi Knight 1/2 and academy, now those were super fun and probably only pc games I really play multiplayer

No One Lives Forever 2 was my fav stealth fps back in the day. The silly humor and hilarious storyline was just perfect entertainment. Letting guards slip on a well placed banana always made my day.

Wish they would do NOLF3 or at least a remaster in an open world with vehicles.

I'd probably add Mount & Blade: Warband to the list as well, since that's an older game now and I've played the sh*t out of it and will do so in the future. There are a lot of great mods for it, which extends its longevity.

Easy to answer. For me, it's Battlefield 1942 (2001) & Battlefield 2 (2004) (and various mods). We love to play coop bot battles in our house. Still fun in 2019 and we've put in a ton of hours. More fun than the new BF games, which none of us care to play. No other old games get much play around here as they often feel dated.

Bonus answer: M.U.L.E. (1983). I found a browser version of this (economy/strategy) game and it's still fun.

I still play a lot of old point and click games. Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max, and Toonstruck were my favorites

I heard that IP is in ownership hell or something... would also love a NOLF 3.

Also, does F.E.A.R count? If so, that.

Went through my pile of Arcade Racing games and found Need for Speed 2 Special Edition. Done 4 laps on each track and my nostalgia has been refueled.

Was surprisingly easy to get running on Windows 10, and works flawless with the Xbox One S Controller triggers for throttle and braking.

The Infinity engine RPGs are to this day better in many aspects than current day ones. NWN games were quite good as well, although at the time people were spoiled with great RPGs and didn't think much of them.
As for LoK games, I am 100% they are still the best at voice acting in all gaming history. The atmosphere in the games was also quite unique, and was not replicated since. Sad state of affairs.

A brilliant point! The atmosphere and voice acting is what makes those games "tick" for me. All the series in fact (except for that recent MOBA joke that came out).
