    couple of percent overall
you gotta remove the 65w power limit though or it'll throttle and run memory in gear1 or you'll get a huge latency penalty.that's rocket lake.Once you do that they're pretty damn close.

Thanks a lot mate, i ll check it out, thanks a lot for providing all these infos, closest thing to what i need without breaking the bank is i7 11700 239 usd at microcenter and ofc add with it a decent board, but then again u said get 10700 instead, so going for an 8 core rather than 6 core cpu for 90 dollars more

Pretty good if you get a MB that unlocks bclk up to 5.2 GHZ but it is all DDR5 now. So far no DDR4 MB that supports bclk OC, yet...

I was just looking at prices for 12400 169$ from microcenter, then i saw prices of mother boards then prices of ddr5

The 12400 does look inciting much faster and less tdp too

it can run ddr4,in fact ddr4 is better, unless you go for +6000mhz ddr5

will have to look more into. most board (b660) i looking at are $200+ 169$ for cpu would still need ram psu and HSF rest I could reuse. Think last build i did cost about 750$ 6700k + asrock z170 extreme + 16gb ram + FD D4 case + D14 HSF

But after seeing what that 12400 can do i rather incited, now if i put build together for price i ok with is another story

12400F if you have a GPU, or 12400 just in case.

Asus ROG Strix B660-F Gaming WiFi or
Asus ROG Strix B660-G Gaming WiFi

Has bclock OC so you can push the cpu up to ~ 5.2 GHZ.

There is an -A version ROG Strix B660-A with DD4 but no one has confirmed if it can do blck OC yet.

Asrock B660 Steel Legend RUMORED, not proven, to have Bclk oc as well.

I am looking at the 12400F + B660 + DDR4 mb or will go 5800x3D if it can even be purchased.
