Fallout 1 and operation flashpoint
Quake 4 didn't do so hot, but Quake 4 I always thought was a well planned out solid game. Never dissapoints me.
Master of Magic
System Shock 2
C&C Tiberian sun (maybe most atmospheric rts ever?)
Yeah to bad, I liked the game aswell on MP, only thing they had to remove was the damn crosshair bobbing while running... You could change it but it still would be forced back on when joining servers. It's just "not done" in games such as UT and Quake.
hmmm.....a hard choice....
Star Wars Kotor
Ninja Gaiden (one of the most difficult games i played)
Devil May Cry
There is probably more but cant remember them.
Super Mario Bros.
Legend Of Zelda
Early NSF games
Unreal & Return to Na Pali
Half Life stands out the most to me. I've had lots of good times with that and associated games (TF2, CS, DoD). Diablo is also up there too... so classic. I met some pretty cool people on FFXI and we've had some pretty awesome times, so that is pretty great too.
Oblivion. Gorgeous, engaging world, beautiful music, all the open-endedness I could ever want.
I'm going to reinstall it now.
Fable - I picked it up cheap from a bargain bin figuring I'd have some cheap and short fun with it, but I absolutely fell in love with it. I was so sad when it ended.
BF1942 - the first (and only) game I think I truly became addicted to. I played it and nothing else for months. I missed the release of lots of other games because of it.
Painkiller - Had never even heard of it (I think because it was released during my aforementioned bf42 addiction) but bought it as a lark on Steam last summer (or the summer before?). Totally blew me away; was surprised how much it still held up graphically given its supposed age.
Dead Space - The only game I've ever played where a door slides open, and I'm afraid to step through the doorway. :uhoh:
Assassin's Creed (no flaming plz)
Twinsen's Oddesey (hands down best back in '98)
Heart of Darkness (old school sidescroller, play it at least once a week never gets old)
Rfactor, just when I start getting bored of a MOD another one comes out, or I rekindle an older one with newer tracks, I love it!
Baldur's Gate 1 & 2...also,Icewind Dale 1 & 2.
If it wasn't for Baldur's Gate I would never even got into pc's.
ok guys what about Red Faction (dethmach) it was the only game i knew of at the time where you can tunnal your way to roofs and secrits with rocket launchers "fun game" and i don't know you but ghostbusters for the NES
Call of Juarez
Age of Empires (All)
Max Payne (All)
Prince of Persia Sands Of Time
Halt! Halt! Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Ah yeah I used to spend hours making tunnels! Remember that DM map that was just a rectangle with a building at each end over the whole wall, and rock floor inbetween...used to tunnel from one end to the other
Also Baldur's Gate was one of the first games I played on the PC, and oddly enough I youtubed it yesterday to show a friend after forgetting it existed for years, before seeing it mentioned here :infinity:
Age of empires series.
Civilization I (soooo many hours on my i386...... sooo many good times.....)
Diablo (first coop matches, over a serial cable.... that was fun......)
Bullfrog Dungeon Keeper ( I an II)
FFvII on ps1
Tekken (men, that was the S****t )
KOTOR II on my Xbox
Also so many more........... modern games I like them all for a while.. but its hard to get one that hooks you up for long.....
