Oh how I love me some good old fashioned Bethesda bs. The previous patch they put into beta, was in beta for maybe a couple of hours and then forced as release, before most people even got a chance to download it, let alone test it. That it caused a multitude of issues for users that had previously no crashes (just read the Steam discussion thread on this) has been blissfully ignored, with no way to roll it back.

Looking forward to all the tasty meltdowns this is going to cause going forward.

After they "break" sales record with "12mil" units and they party 1 week, now I can't wait for patches after 2 weeks release.

Yeah I think I will wait a year or so before I get into this buggy game.

ive put in just over 100 hours so far i like the game so much i just got the season pass today as far as performance goes i get a solid 60 fps most of the time some areas it drops to 40-50 fps,the new nvidia drivers have improve performance and im sure there be sli support and more improvements with patches and future drivers, i think bethesda have made a great game much better than the reskins like assasin creeds and call of duty which i never buy anymore

I'm glad they're announcing that they are working on a new patch but I never understood the concept of beta game patches.

I suppose it's when you don't feel like investing money in an in-house beta team and prefer to unleash untested fixes on a large population sample.

It is if you disable nvidia gamedontworks. Sounds like a trend...

It's very playable for some and completely unplayable for others. Doesn't anyone read Bethesda support forums or Steam threads? This Fallout is no different to FO3 and NV in that regard.

godrays (gameworks) has nothing to do with the game being 'buggy' or not.
it only affect performance and there are 3 more quality options between Off and Ultra. sounds more like bitching haters are the trend.

It seems like these days, buying games for full price when they're new (or worse, when they're not even released yet) is just a terrible idea. Wait a year or two and the game will be as playable as it was supposed to be on release day while costing less. Seems counter-intuitive to pay less for a better product...

Got mine for 30 quid, it hasn't had a single bug that isn't basically built into the engine, so I'm laughing ..... except that I don't really like the game that much ... which is a bit of a bummer XD

Sounds a lot like Windows 10.

The game runs fine to an extent. Don't expect GTA V optimizations here. There are some annoying bugs/things that happen and shouldn't but It's still enjoyable.

Game still looks like 2005 graphicall wise, but besides that they still need to fix them dam controls, hard locked keys is a big epic fail for me, not even possible to loot bodies then anything else then the E [use] key, and numlock keys dont work either, thats unacceptable for todays standards period.

    just saying rebugged game

    I was getting a lot of ctd's

    359.00 seemed to help

but some of the ctd's came with a - out of memory warning
after a tip on another forum I checked my page file only to find it was capped at 200 mb and I wonder if samsung magician had changed that.
anyways it is now set for windows to set the amount.
    and no ctd's last night.

No bugs here. IMO this is Bethesda's best by a long mile (better than any ES game). Graphics are absolutely phenomenal, and it's the least "buggy" Bethesda release ever (haven't really seen one major bug). Better than 3 and NV in every single conceivable way.

Gotta agree, fallout 3 and NV at release were an absolute **** show at release.

Fallout 3 at release crashed 3/5 times everytime you went from an exterior cell to an interior cell or vice versa.

Fallout NV had lots of AI issues, punching someone would knock people off crucifixis' and general AI doing stupid ****.

Oh and lets not forget Skyrim.
