Hey guys, Half a year ago I've made an infographic about water wasting, I would love you guys to check it out as it is finally live. http://blog.iforex.com/water/ Loved doing this one, I wish I had more time to add a few things, but I'm happy with it * The mobile version is meh compared to the desktop one.
" One cup of coffee uses more water than a morning shower, a flush and teeth brushing all together" * This is a primary example of what I would classify as "Crazy Talk"
Actually if you look below you'll see: "Water consumption for making coffee includes: Water to grow Sugar, Coffee beans and for Milk Production." Those are real facts, It doesn't mean that the water in the cup can be used for all of those things.. All the ingredients require that amount of water to grow/manufacture...
I'm not sure if all the facts there are credible (some seem crazy to me), but the work on the site is very nice. You did a good job there.
Does it not take water to run the machines that create the toilet, shower and toothbrushes? Keep the workers hydrated, the coffee they drink while making these items ? It could go on and on if you start digging that deep Site looks great though
The site is great, but all the comparisons on water usage between two different things are completely irrelevant. I think it is better to compare water usage of one thing but done in different ways, like taking shower and using a bathtub, or watering the lawn for 5 minutes and 15 minutes, etc.
