Is this pretty average for a 9800 pro in 3dmark03? 6272 was my score with my crappy system specs shown at the right. Think upgrading the cpu to a 754 3700+ and some 3200 mem would give it alot higher score just a minimal push?

Not bad! You can get a lot more out of that though. A good 9800pro should be able to get higher than 415/375. What cooling are you using on it?

Yes, an A64 upgrade would get you to 7k in 03, but you wouldn't see a huge increase in 05.

I'm using the Zalman VF700 Al/Cu cooler with the memory heat sinks that came with it, I used ATI Tool to automatically push it to that spot b4 it started clocking back down.

don't trust ati tools auto overclocking, its always wrong and detects the wrong settings, with that zalman you should be able to get a much higher core and slightly higher memory.

by upping the core by 10 making it 425 and memory 10 making it 385, i got a 6392, over 100 marks more for a minor over clock from past clocked settings, neat heh.

My score was 5443, no o/c whatsoever, using newest Omega drivers. Good or bad?

Edit: Does it affect if the computer is running three heavy programs while benchmarking?

I had these on when I took the test:

    Kerio Firewall
    Microsoft Antispyware
    Avast! Antivirus

you want to disable all non-needed programs like what you listed when benching. They lower your score by hogging system resources.
