A couple of weeks guys and the card will be released , then we will know for sure
all new goodies for my man chispy?
Yes my bro ,new rig ,new build.
get more cards to the poor so the poor can play games too!
thats progress.. just the other tip of the scale.
Optimization of the code in games? Developers are lazy these days, they have so much hardware resources that they don't have to have a perfectly optimized game. They just increase the specifications needed for it.
You search for some of the 16, 32 or even 64kb competitions. They can get alot out of that!
I understand , developer aren't great at coding games...
But not all developers do a **** job , so if nvidia dumps us , we all get dumped automatically , including the developers...
Isn't that sad...
I just want Star Craft with no slow downs with 8 players
But then I'm sure we'll have limited ram to blame or a wasteful use of quads to blame...
Who do we blame....
I guess , I'm to be blamed...eKK
It's gonna launch the last week of march. It will have 768MB of memory, that's one hint that it will be much better than most had anticipated.
Also I think it will basically be an updated 8800GTX but with a smaller die which allows for higher clock speeds. Shrinking down to 65nm is one reason why the G92 chip has surpassed the G80 in many ways.
Erm, not to mention the 54-64 texture units present on the G92 die as opposed to 32 on the GTX and ultra G90. There were many small enhancements made to the chip, it wasn't just shrunk.
