I should report your post for trolling you idiot how was my post a troll not one person has done a benchmark ANANDTECH took the word of nvidia on the specs and look at anandtechs benchmark which was memory dependent HMM seems like there is an issue with memory here.
Lol that is your proof. That is horrible proof. That bench has more going on than memory bandwidth. I will let you look at the bench for a few minuets so you can figure it out.
Prefix, I suggest you refrain from getting mad at people and also from using inappropriate language. It doesn't bode well.
My order shows "Estimated stock arrival on 4/6/2015" in my account on the Scan UK site so hopefully some cards will start shipping tomorrow, including my own. Fingers crossed.
He called me a troll because he got butt-hurt that no one was answering a question. I wasn't going around screaming NVIDIA IS DOING RAMGATE AGAIN! I asked a question and linked a benchmark anyone could easily run and he called me a troll and threaten to report me. Anyone who owns the card and isn't willing to run the benchmark and is yelling at me instead for asking them to run it should not be responding to me without showing proof. Telling me THERE IS NO BUG SO I WON'T RUN IT is not an argument show me the benchmark.
^ Vantage uses some sophisticated pixel fillrate measuring, it outputs much lower fillrate then it actually is. Texture fillrate is more on par with gpu specifications, but still a little lower. And yeah its very vram speed depended, higher gpu OC didnt change much only after I raised vram it got much higher. It started @ 739€, now I saw one for 715€,edit: its back to 735€ lmao.. I think its still a pre-order thing.. It will settle down once it goes full swing, probably ~ 600-650€ in the end. Just like 780TI when it was first released, I saw it had similar pre-order pricing.
You getting 2? Think I`m going to pick up 2 in about a month, should be an excellent upgrade for 780ti sli.
Yeah I'm getting two, sold my 780ti's a few weeks back as I ordered a pair of Titan X's to begin with but ended up cancelling them when the 980Ti rumour mill began to swirl. Been using a pair of GTX 480's since selling the 780Ti's, they're a bit toasty with the reference coolers
Anybody else get them in SLI? I feel like I'm not seeing much improvement from regular 980s in SLI, but I could be wrong. Just want to compare benchmark numbers. Preferably in 4k, which is what I'm running.
Nvidia cards have bad GPU scaling in general they have strong single cards but AMD has XDMA until NVLink comes out with pascal multi card configs are not optimal on Nvidia its more for bragging rights.
completely agreed, especially that PCB and everything is still reference design on that hybrid. at that price either get TX for a bit more, or if you want good temps just wait for custom 980Tis to drop, they will have custom PCBs, better VRM and cooling that will rival that expensive AIO. heck, i think KINGPIN and LIGHTNING edition 980Tis will still be cheaper than that hybrid but will perform much much better.
i am interested a lot in this gpu, a lot. Too bad it isn't straight forward to find a test that compares it to a sli of titans Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICDwtepVuMA Still can wait some, but ... anyway Edit 2: looks more and more obvious i have the replacer for my sli, the further i go into reviews
Definitely going to be picking up a pair within the next month or two. Even considering a custom loop for it all. Don't really want all the noise and heat that comes with running two air cooled cards and I've always wanted to try out watercooling. Guess this will be the perfect time for it.
I hope you get them really, i am looking at a msi OC gtx980Ti @ good price and i hope i can sell my titans correctly. What price would be suitable ? i got the bills, they are as clean as can be. 900€ ?? dunno
