    Yes, yes i know that. But i was curious how newest drivers advice in old benchs/games & 94.24 is definitely better. Less stutter, good IQ, has old & not broken CP... So it is long awaited keeper for me :)

    Indeed Long Awaited Driver with OLD CONTROL PANEL wahoo!

    Using PowerStrip 3.75 right now as I can get higher than 1560 on memory with it.

    Will be installing Coolbits using Nvtray Tools.

    You can find them by looking in the "Windows XP/2000 Driver Archive".

    I noticed that the color correction setting are not being applied at startup, you have to open the cpl for them to load.

    Yes, what this means?

    And my card knows: nvidia [unknown] processor. NVxx
    Why?

    Thanks

    The mem display bug (doubled mem speed) documented in the 93.71 release notes is fixed w/ 94.24. However, CoolBits is still broken for all G70 and below GPUs, which my eVGA 7800GS falls into. Other unresolved bugs include loss of VMR9 color controls in vid apps such as Zoomplayer and the inability to zoom correctly when using the VMR9 renderer. Most of these hideous bugs never existed in any pre 9x.xx driver. Fkn morons at nv.

    For some reason with these drivers I am getting GPU info popping up in the upper left hand corner of D3D apps every few minutes in white text. It shows the current GPU temp, Core frequency, Memory Frequency, and GPU Memory Usage.

    Has anybody seen this before and know how to turn it off?

    Update: I uninstalled the driver, ran driver cleaner, and re-installed 94.24 and it seems to be gone. It did appear once since I reinstalled but I haven't seen it since. As for what is triggering it I have no idea...

    maybe they removed the drivers from the page to offer a new 94.24 that does have the new CP as they claimed. maybe 94.24a.

    well for those interested, you can enable switching of the old to new, and new to old CP with a reg file. I have tested with 160.03 set and it works fine, becuase the 160.03 you lose the old cp completely....kinda a switch to these, but here it is:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    ;----------------------------------------------------------------
    ;Enables control panel switching from new to old and old to new
    ;----------------------------------------------------------------

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies]
    "SedonaDisable"=dword:00000002
    "ContextUIPolicy"=dword:00000001
    "TaskbarUIPolicy"=dword:00000001
    "CplGroupUIPolicy"=dword:00000002

    Hope it works for others.

    I have just installed these drivers.

    I didn't notice any significant differences, except for in the Lost Planet DX9 demo where my average frame rate dropped from 30+ (with the previously installed NGO 158.22) to 5!

    I have installed the earlier and latest 94.24 version from Nvidia and the new cp is not included in either one.

    official 93.71 is back! That's mean 94.24 has some problems!
    But you can find 94.24 in NVIDIA Driver Archive section.
