Im talking about just what i said. This is not a 8800 thread so people comming in here complaining about no 8800 drivers is getting old. Its happening in almost every driver thread created lately. The problem is nobody stays on TOPIC in the thread! This is not a 8800 driver thread so lets KEEP it that way!

As for these drivers i gave em a go. I dont see frame increases, but some games do seem to have smoother play, especially with vsync on for me. I used to get a small stutter here and there with vsync on, and I havent seen one yet.

:uhoh: LOL Oh yeah, what are you going to do? Return your vid card and demand a refund. Hope nvidia does not see this reply and start shaking in there boots. :cussing:
Now to the point, are these drivers any good?

I installed these and they kept giving me IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bsod's and then i had a hell of a time reinstalling the old 91.48 drivers. I don't exactly know what these did but steer clear! Oh yeah SLI STILL DOESN'T WORK WITH THESE DRIVERS. DO I KNOW WHY? NO! i have contacted asus, evga and sooner or later i'm going to find some way to contact nvidia directly if asus doesn't get back to me. This new driver no sli bs is pissing me off.

GhostXL - thats right this is not 8800 topic.. but hey, isnt the 8800 a gpu by Nvidia ?

this topic discusses about the "official" beta drivers. you BET I will bring the 8800 to this thread. All Nvidia's gpus are supprted BUT the 8800.
XP os is clearly out.. right ? The 8800 card is out as well.. right ?
WHY CANT THIS SET SUPPORT IT ??

And yes. get used to people with 8800 posting in various threads.
*I* am getting sick of ppl saying that the 8800 guys complain about drivers support.

WE HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE ANGRY ! :chainsaw:

    :(

Works nice for my aging 6800nu. GW and CSS have no probs with this driver.

Video looks good too, no dark color problem.

Any word on how the TV out works with these using Component?

Sometimes I wish setting up Windows Video drivers was as easy as Linux. At least I can tell it through an easy config file what I want.

I agree. Best drivers since 92.91. If you still got the Ram overclocking bug, use RivaTuners 'alternate startup daemon'. In the brand new version it will install it automatically.

TV out is still the same. I'm using ffshows 'resize & aspect' to correct the propotions.
