I had to try this so called tweak for myself , so off i go followed instructions to a T.

1st there is a bit of fps increase for me (i am talking 2to5 fps increase in doom3,HL,COD2.

2nd yes as well 3d mark 05 is a few points higher.

3rd if there is any change in visual's i do not have the eye to notice.

So in a nutshell for me yup you gain a bit,but all in all not worth effort for outcome.

As everyone knows mileage very's per pc system..

If your trying to tweak the images to make them look worse your doing a good job.Otherwise i would just give up with this part of your life as i'm sure you have better things to do.

For Dual core u must enable optimizations via nvcp or via regedit , I recommend to read Nvidia release notes.

    http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/91.28/91.28_ForceWare_Release_Notes.pdf

    • There may be intermittent application compatibility issues with dual
    core CPUs.
If you experience this issue, you can work around it by toggling off multithread
    optimizations using the following instructions:
1 Launch regedit and determine the current primary display card by
    looking in
    HKey_Local_Machine\Hardware\DeviceMap\Video
and note the GUID (global unique identifier assigned by Windows),
which is the long string in brackets { } at the end of the entry
    ʺ\device\video0ʺ.
    2 Look in
    HKey_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\
    {GUID}\0000
where {GUID} is the number derived from the previous step.
3 Open the ʺ0000ʺ directory and create a new DWORD called
OGL_ThreadControl and give it a value of 2.
This will disable multithreading in the driver for all OpenGL applications.
4 If you want to disable driver multithreading for all Direct3D applications–
In the same ʺ0000ʺ directory, create a new DWORD called
WTD_EXECMODEL and give it a value of 0.

He never said he had any issues with applications you need to stop making things up.Everytime someone says something you say "hey you are wrong and your are an idiot because my tweaks are l33t"like anyone wants to hear that crap.Just get over it they dont work.

I post the link of nvidia release notes because when u apply tweaks ( if u see my specs i no have a dual core cpu ) dual core optimization maybe dissapear and i put the link and extract some info how to enabling that

Hey, that's very rude. He is just trying to help improving our gaming experience. It's up to you whether to try it or not. Just be happy that someone is using his spare time to make and test this tweaks.

    @MASTERTRICK
Dude, when you make a screenshot comparison, please use the exact same frame/view. Don't touch the mouse nor the movement keys when you load a saved game. It's very hard to compare 2 different frames.

Ok juke . I keep up in my mind next time i do a screenshot comparison using the same frame but in fable screenshots is imposible to have a savegame starting the game.

Thanks bobdude¡¡¡ I´m glad to read your post.

I uploaded a video tutorial in flash to apply tweaks for noob people and people who wants to try my tweaks

    http://www.myfilelink.co.uk/file.aspx?id=4d990115b7a44b2e8f9acdc22fe78b93

Its necesary to uncompress files 7-z o newest version of winrar ( 7z recommended ) and to open the flash file [ htm ] use your favorite browser ; firefox, opera, theworld. k-meleon, internet explorer and others....

PD: I edit my first post with the link of the video tutorial.

It's possible, I have played the game months ago. Just load the game, printscreen, then exit the game. Don't touch that mouse/kb.

Keep up the good work and don't listen to their flames, just be sure to check your tweaks first before releasing. Major bugs will get you in trouble. :)

I have add 2 tweaks optimizing dual core processors extracted from nvidia release notes:

    1 Start---run----regedit
    2 Look in
    HKey_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Video\
    {GUID}\0000
where {GUID} is the number derived from the previous step.
3 Open the ʺ0000ʺ directory and create a new DWORD called
OGL_ThreadControl and give it a value of 0.
This will enable multithreading in the driver for all OpenGL applications.
4 If you want to enable driver multithreading for all Direct3D applications–
In the same ʺ0000ʺ directory, create a new DWORD called
WTD_EXECMODEL and give it a value of 1.

    Test it and feedback plz.

it is actually in OGL_threadcontrol "9

    and in WTD_execmodel "4"and WTD_ALLOW "4

it is easier to do in Rivatuner 15.6

there's prolly no diferrence at all in performance, I just leave it enable in the nvidia control panel :p and sometimes FORCING the threading makes games load hella slower

    Can u explain this registry values?I mean OGL_threadcontrol "9 and in WTD_execmodel "4"and WTD_ALLOW "4".

Unless i make OGL_ThreadControl 2 for the last 5-6 nividia drivers, my medal of honor game loses 75% fps.

At the moment i no add any dual core optimization, better via nvcp until i have a dual core.

I´m working with some general tweaks but score down a little in 3dmark05 respect to uploaded current version of 91.28 reg file ( 3917, only 4 fps respect of 3921 scored with 91.28 reg file ) but with better gameplay in opengl games ; Doom3 and Riddick. I´m going to test that tweaks in DirectX games
