Firmly aware of the 64-bit drivers in the archive, always have been.
Disabled Driver Sig enforcement, uninstalled old Cats, etc...

These drivers will not install on my Windows 7 64-bit. Which is nice and frustrating as you claim to have gotten it working. :bang:

It's really not good to use this version with windows 7 or Vista...

The drivers catalyst windows 7/vista have specific dll for support DX10/DX10.1/DX11 and the version XP, only support DX9...

I don't understand, why some people try... u don't have a full support for your graphic cards.

Indeed, but from what I've read... adding that -winxp tag has negative effects on overall game performance.

I did but they ran like crap, so as I've also said in a earlier post, I don't recommend using them at all in x64. Games didn't last every long till crashes back to desktop, Fallout 3 would cause a hard lock, resulting in a hard reboot.

It's really not worth messing with these, just wait for the final versions.

Exact same thing here. -winxp doesn't seem to do anything good for me.

Wait, you're happy you bought pre-built junk, and a so yesterday 32 bit operating system (Home basic at that) to use beta drivers? Are you serious? Chances are you could have built yourself a much better machine yourself for around the same price.

Dude, pre-built is the worst possible choice, don't even tell me you bought some e-machine with those specs. 64 bit is also the OS of choice, more stable etc.

I can't agree with anything you just said.

My last computer was a prebuilt , and i use that from 2000 to 2009, and it still works with 90watts PSU. Nevertheless, i only deal with prebuilt computers, they give me what i want, so i am not complaining. Now i have a new rig a emachine, and everything what i wanted in a new computer from that pentium III i have now and plus more, so i am happy and gaming is amazing. :)

    PEACE

To be honest, it's only everything that you want because you don't really know what there is. In addition to that, you don't know how to build a computer from parts, so there's a fear factor there. They just make it sound good to you, so you go "okay I'll buy that." In reality, you're getting ripped off. Severely.

Do you have Vsync turned off? Ass adding -winxp is the only way to get CrossFire working at the moment.

seems to me that new drivers usually are released on the Wednesday of the 2nd or 3rd week of the month.

besides i had both beta/leaked drivers and whql releases going back to cat 9.3. it seems that for the most part that the rc/beta/leaked drivers are the same performance and stability as whql. for my setup anyway.

I can't get vsync to turn off. I have it off in control panel and I tried ATT and still I'm capped @ 60 frames and -winxp seems to do nothing at all for me.

... Maybe ATI hates me, but as soon as I installed that driver, my PC got @#$%&ed up proper. Sound stopped working, wireless drivers went back to an OLD (I mean 2007 old) version, and Lord knows what else...

I'm still cleaning up ATI's mess.

Also, System Restore doesn't work for me, so that's still out.

And maybe it's just something with my config, but everything is normal mainly except an OC'd GPU and DirectX10 on XP...
