For the record, that will not solve his problem. I have win7 x64 and disabling digital signing does nothing. These drivers simply cannot be forced into that OS, it would seem.

For the record, it solved mine. I got them to run in Vista x64 and Win 7 X64, no parlor tricks, just the way through device manager.

Though I did not find them very stable, so Cat 9.6 it is for me till 9.7 final.

    Problems Installing on 64-bit

If you install manually via Device Manager, make sure you point to the 64-bit directory or 32-bit directory, for the appropriate OS.

    W76A_INF ---------- Windows 7 64-bit
    W7_INF ------------ Windows 7 32-bit
    XP6A_INF ---------- XP 64-bit
    XP_INF ------------ XP 32-bit

Yes they can, disable driver signing for the millionth time. But I do not recommend them, as they ran like crap in Win 7.

Read post #84 by BC2 to see how to do this.

FOR 64 bit you will need 64 bit drivers and they are just under the 32 bit driver folder (XP 8.63 (9.7 RC3)\Driver\XP6A_INF) so point it at that and it will install fine

I tried running just the installer for CCC after uninstalling my old CCC, and it appears to be exactly the same, as if it didn't really install the right one. :\

From what I can tell here and on other sites it looks as if they have re-enabled gpu scaling in the ccc. Can anyone verify this?

When 9.7 will be out? In the seventh month (july) around the 10-20th day, mostly on wednesdays or mondays if they miss the deadline...

And please stop asking such stupid questions; ATI has a monthly release schedule, has been like this since 2000...

It's not a stupid question, it's perfectly valid. Sometimes they are early like the 8th, sometimes v. late in the Month. I was only asking if there was any news. :bang:

Mr CatalystMaker is on his Holiday, so can't post any info.

Arma2 is the new Crysis. The game code is not very efficient. Having lived through Arma1, BIS will improve the fps in the next few patches. But it will never run great. It's just the nature of the Arma series.

Arma2 is being accepted by a larger audience versus the original. Hopefully BIS will work with Nvidia and ATI to optimize the drivers and multiple gpu's.

The 64 bit drivers are in there if people would look, disable driver signing etc.

I don't get it. How are people seeing the new tabbed CCC? Do you have to install the entire driver package? Is it just a Vista thing? What? I wanted to stick with 9.6 and use the new CCC, but it's like it's using the old one still.

I've tried uninstalling CCC and installing only the CCC from this new package twice now, and it doesn't look any different. When I right click on the systray icon and hit About, I get this:

    ATI Catalystâ„¢ Control Center
    Version 2009.0610.2132.36830

Is that the right version? :(
