    Thanks , that was fast ! I will be checking them out on a 3850 in a few days .The 9.2 hotfix work well , but most past drivers did not. I hope I'm not pressing my luck ! To run H.A.W.X demo 9.2 hotfix was needed , but to really enjoy playing it , it needs more than a driver , that old pc can't take anymore !

    Use the 08.06.12 drivers for your PPU, ALL games work with those including Mirrors Edge.....

    i havent noticed any problems with 9.3 yet
    and those complaining about heat just need to download rivatuner and create fan profiles with that
    my X2 was 75-80degrees at idle i put fan to 40% and now its around 45 at idle, another profile puts the fan to 60% and both gpus stay under 70degrees at full load

    Just wanted to point out that Boxee and XBMC are now working fine on Win 7 with Catalyst 9.3. Using Windows 7 x64 Beta Build 7075.

    Ati Catalyst Drivers 9.3 and Sacred 2 Performance

    Hello

    If you are playing Sacred 2 do not install 9.3.
    Please check this for more info
    I had to go back to 9.2
    I have not tested any of my other games, but since I am mostly playing Sins of a solar empire and sacred 2, CCC 9.3 will have to wait.

    Just for the record, don`t you think that it is incredible that we gamers have to "profile" drivers in terms of the games we are playing to see if they are ok to use ot not?

    I am opening a ticket on ATI about this.

    I'm still using 8.9 driver.

    Will I notice any difference in performances with this new driver???

    I have a "want_2" in my xml. It looks like this...

    <Feature name="CoreClockTarget_0">
    <Property name="Want_0" value="50000" />
    <Property name="Want_1" value="50000" />
    <Property name="Want_2" value="75000" />
    </Feature>
    <Feature name="MemoryClockTarget_0">
    <Property name="Want_0" value="90000" />
    <Property name="Want_1" value="90000" />
    <Property name="Want_2" value="90000" />
    </Feature>

    Do i edit all 3 values? I see want_1 and 2 are 2d/3d clocks but what is want_0 then?

    I give up. Another driver which I can not instal properly. CCC wont work either.
    I tried everything without success.
    For now I am back on Xtreme 9.1, but in the future I will go back to Nvidia clan.
    It is just too much...:bang:
    I dont have time to spend whole day instaling/removing/reinstaling/cleaning.... new/old drivers...:eek:ver:

    Is there any where I can make a "back up" of my profiles so I do not have to re-create them after installing 9.3?

    Haven't updated for the simple fact that I got everything the way I want it. I have multiple profiles for TV's, overclocked, gaming, watching movies and I really don't feel like doing it over. :3eyes:

    Any help would be appreciate. :nerd:

    I cannot play Crysis Warhead, maps wont load and it is related to this driver and 9.2. I could play if I disable AI, this kinda sucks but at least crysis received a nice boost ..lol

    I hope ATI can resolve this issue soon. If anybody has a similar problem please report it too.

    Was having lettering problem in game (pink letters and guild tags have slight;y over lapping letters [green and violet]) so thought mayby the gpu driver was corrupted.
    In Wxp pro (32bit?) Control panel/Display/Settings/
    1. Viewsonic VX2025w_Series on Radeon x1950 Pro (32bit colour quality)

    /Advanced/Adapter/Properties/Driver
    it list Driver Version: 8.471.0.0 Driver Date: 2/25/2008
    (previous system was using w98.2, Intel 700MHz & gf gts 32MB, 756MB pc100 sdram system previously)

    Since this ATI driver seems to be ver 9.3 (just downloaded, 9-3_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu-[Guru3D.com]) can one just click the download on desktop and it just installs/updates. Noticed in this thread someone mentioned having to purge out hidden gpu driver files in safe mode.

    edit
    installed the 38MB 9.3 gpu driver package no aparent problems (w/o removing previous driver) other than it also installed a WoW trial account shortcut on desktop.

    driver ver 8.591.0.0, driver date 2/25/2008
