guys what are your numbers? just curious, as mine are low. im not even breaking 9900. fresh install xp pro, nforce 9.35, driver 169.21 and riva tuner fan at 55 percent. im seeing 11k+ everywhere.

somethings wrong, but what? cpu bottleneck?

That score actually looks about right to me. Your CPU is the bottle neck. . . I'm actually going through the same thing. lol

I would imagine overclocked you guys should be getting ~14000 if you werent CPU bottlenecked, i get @13000 with my 8800GT
Then again, who cares about crappy 3dmark06, you should be comparing e.g. Crysis benchmark performance or Fear or something

agreed i play all my games fine, but i only get around 8100 in 3D06, nothing is OC'd tho, AMD and 3D06 just do not play well together. :biggun:

Definately compare SM scores with similar cards rather than the overall 3dmoark score.

If it's on target (ie. gts 512 = ~5000), then you can determine what's holding back your score.

actually, crysis is playable at high settings for me now. i could tell the difference from my older gts 320. although i cant get high settings for oblivion. quite frustrating.
