It's a pity the Crysis benchmarks were done at medium quality only...

iako, I agree as I play this at 4800x1200 and the FPS can go as low as 9 with everything set to very high in WinXP (using a game hack)

very playable! even with my old AMD dual core and overclocked old school GTS'.

i play Crysis @ 1280x1024 4xAA 16x AF all settings on high plus some DX10 tweaks, and it was definately playable. even on the ice/snow level i was getting 25-40 fps.

some maps i say 80-90 fps once in awhile ;) but on others i saw into the teens sometimes, but i blame my cpu for that mostly. poor little bugger dont like lots of AI and explosions ;)

Some guy on one forum oced his to 1100 core and got over 20000. I don't think that he was slied, so you're looking a some insane scores. I don't really want to find the link right nw, but if you want it I'll post it tomorrow.

    Hmm let me see....

Becuase the 9800GX2 Is a rip off?? It just 2 8800gts 512 stuck together?? Therefore the 8800gts 512 in sli are better. Oc more.

Becuase the 9800GX2 is the only higher end card coming out.

    Becuase a 9600gt wont beat a single 8800

Becuase The "real" 9 series wont be out until around april may.

    Good enough for you??

g98x2 will be out next month they said 30 percent faster than the utra now technically it might be but is it in real world test using fraps i doubt it.now these might be good for people with 30 inxh moitors that dont want two seperate cards for sli.i never sli so i dont know how well sli works but i wonder if these will be better than just two seperate cards who knows.

from my experience with crossfire ( which is way better then sli , performance wise) using two cards sucks..main reason being the f#$%@ng poor support in games . You are right that if you play up to 1920 you better stick to one card then going for two !
