8800GT fan speed spikes & crashing: Rivatuner 2.08 low level fan profile + Vista 64

    What mobo and exact card..

    I had a issue with my Single slot cooler 8800 GT fan not spinning. Causing the ovver heating.. miraculously they have stopped, but was week long problem. I tired uninstalling and playing with every proggy possible.

    You would figure that the card has its own BIOS that it would control the spees correctly per temp.

    Click magic "Seach" button and type in "Punkbuster" there. That's the only help I'll offer.

    Looks like I2C aceess collisions. Try to avoid using multiple monitoring tools simultaneously to get rid of it.

    No, it doesn't. I repeat once again that you've to avoid running multiple GPU related monitoring programs simultaneously. Use either Everest or RT, but not both of them at the same time.
