Phoenix, could you possibly run the dark void bench with and without the 260 for physX?? as it would be interesting to see if the 480 is that good for physX? il add them to my physX benchmarks thread then, if thats alrite??

i tried it,but it wont let me select anything but low physx which is dumb considering i get over 90+fps

havent put the 260 in for physx jus for that benchmark not worth the heat an i dont own that game anyway lol, tested darkest of days an it rocks now for a simple shootem up

Yeah it wont let you select anything but low, but thats all the need as there will be a difference i think one way or the other, no worries man, just an idea.

ok it (dark void bench) will not let me select anything other then low physx wtf, but on a positive note the 480 by itself gave me a lil over 90fps, now with the 260 handling physx my fps is up to 121.74 fps

edit: retested darkest of days with the 260 for physx, neither card is overclocked,50fps 480 by itself,59 fps with the 260 doing physx

A gain from the 260 as a physX card then thats not to bad, i gueesing its because it lets the 480 do what it does best and render the game, if you have the 260 installed now could you run a few dark void benches?

Thats whats i expected, i thought we still might see a boost off loading the physX to another card, thanks for that matey.

I have Nvidia QuadroFX 570 in my Dell, could I use it as sa Physix card if I get some 9800GTX+, GTS250, HD4850 or maybe( only in my dreams, they're too expensive) HD4870 for graphics? I don't have enough money for some beter card,i only hope to get some money till summer to buy some used card...

My mobo has 3 PCIex 16x (2x16x and one 8x), and my PSU is 1kW, so i think it will work (at least from hardware).
