Is there a comparison of various gains with SLI configs over single cards? Like, what will my 2 x GTX460 1GB cards be able to run it at?

My 470s are getting steady 60fps throughout on Metro and Caspian. Ultra settings with AA at x2, post AA thingy off and motion blur lowered to 35 - 40, 1920x1200. It looks stunning, Vram tops out at 1230ish

my 560ti averages between 50-70fps at 1080p at high. so from that, i'd assume recommended is more like 30-40fps at 1080p at high.

leave HT on, this game can take advantage of 8 HT cores.

Might grab the beta and those drivers and see how mine perform then.

Blerg... I don't know if I want to attempt to run it on my system or not. I think I may just wait a few months.

Your rig is better than mine, maybe your GPU isn't by much, but your CPU is, and this thing MAXES out all 4 cores of my CPU.

I think you should run it fine; I do it on Medium-high 60FPS constant.

I wonder just how well I'll do as My with current rigs GTX 470 TRI SLI is scoring well above the Asus MARS II GTX 590 cards in vantage it scores roughly 33,819 P and I am hitting 41,120 P with a hefty overclock of 850 on each of the cores.

This is one of those games I would have never considered using AA for anyways. Soft shadows is also rather superficial. As long as I can have decent textures and good lighting.

and who really cares..battlefield 3 is nothin special..

same old **** that happened with GTA:IV...
ya cant blame developers for trying to future proof their games..they need to ring out every $ they can from a title..uture proofing gets maximum bang for buck

I hope they kept the ability to play with humans vs bots like in the older games. That's really the only way I've had fun playing BF games.
