None taken! Cheers, mate. i love my 6800GT, too.
dod source runs soooo much smoother for some reason now!!!! no problems encountered so far....
Nice drivers here too!
These drivers are really the best 81.xx
NFS Most Wanted runs so snooth. Damn good work nVidia
Great goin, I thought I had the only one of a kind 6800GT.... ha ! I Love my 6800 too...Now my 7800GT !! I really love that one. I've already left my wife for my 7800, and I'm having an affair with my 4000+ on the side. Just the two of us, my PC and NFSMW
In all due respect for the thread here.......... The 81.89's are better, smoother and faster than the 81.95whql is for me and my, well, my baby's..
nice set of drivers. definitely keepers! even when I lost 20 3dmarks, games run really smooth and look great. no problems so far.
Quake 4 (HWSpirit demo @ 1280x1024 Ultra Quality all settings maximum, AA 4x, Anisotropic 16x, Gama correct AA ON, Transparent AA Supersampling)

81.95 = 71.5 fps
FEAR (v1.02 1024x768 All settings to Maximum, AA 4x Anisotropic 16x, Gama correct AA ON, Transparent AA Supersampling)
81.94 = 51 fps
81.95 = 51 fps
CoD 2 (1280x1024 All settings to Maximum, AA 4x)
81.94 = Run very smoothly
81.95 = Run very smoothly
Doom 3 (timedemo default @ 1280x1024 Ultra Quality all settings maximum, AA 4x, Anisotropic 16x, Gama correct AA ON, Transparent AA Supersampling)
81.94 = 72 fps
81.95 = 75 fps
Benchs are exactly the same for me in all cases except for Doom 3.
All benchs were testing @ stocks speeds (CPU, mems, video)
Someone let me know if this release solves the mouse-lockup (freeze) issue where the graphic pointer stays on one part of the screen and it really is moving somewhere else.
They said they solved it in the last release (.67?) but it didn't fix the issue for me.
I haven't tried these on my desktop yet, but what I'm really interested in is a version with mobile support.
foam, if you wanna hop on over to ngohq.com a friend of mine has been working on a dev id listing for cases such as this and is looking for people to test his id's out
For all of you that complain about my modded bios, im using my POV stock bios. Maybe you should ask first ?
Whatever i try even with stock clocks i cant use this driver and i have no clue why.
Maybe its the monitor detection thats built into the drivers that crash computer i dont know.
Is there a way to remove that crap ?
And if you use any logic at all then you should really wonder what timings or clocks has to do with monitor refresh rate crashing to do ?
hmm. theres some files you can remove..
there should be an ngo set out soon...
Finally!!! An 81.xx set of drivers that I can use without crashes/BSODs!
I only really play BF2, and I tried it out for a lengthy period last night, not one error, not one BSOD, and smooth as butter with my usual settings.
Nice work IMO, but about bloody time!
First keepers for me since 77.77 & 78.01
Thankyou Nvidia for finally fixing that damn Guild Wars bug.
ubermann your logic is flawed
you can disable DDC scanning in the bios with NiBiTor 2.5. dunno if thats what youre asking, but its worth a try
Games run great with this driver, but my desktop mouse lag at 1280x1024 is really bad. If I open only one program, the mouse pointer is stuttering. Didn't happen with the 81.94.
Anyone else realized that ?
I'm having issues with DVD playback and 81.95... anyone else??
i cant use the Display Optimization Wizard with this drivers (the button is unclickable). 81.94 was fine. does anyone know how to fix it or where the executable is located?
