pretty good drivers, css is similar to the 78.03, very smooth and fast, and iq is a bit better. they still havent fixed the control panel bug, though thats not a big deal.

css vst numbers for those that care:

    78.03 - 106.something
    81.94 - 104.something
    81.95 - 106.51

    gonna use these for now.

When i change refresh rate my computer locks!!!!
When i change clocks on card my computer locks!!!!
I tried to install them twice same problem, when i try other drivers everything works.

GOOD JOB NVIDIA MAYBE YOU SHOULD SPEND SOME TIME BETA TESTING ANY OF YOUR DRIVERS!!!!!!!!

Maybe you should try your card at stock settings instead of your "modded" bios. No wonder you are experiencing lock ups. Too many peeps push it too far then whine when it breaks.

FYI - Every driver has bugs, don't expect them to be flawless.

ROFLMAO.. Good job ubermann you are using a modded bios.... but of course the problem is with the drivers

Lol...i can't believe you expect Nvidia to test new drivers with third party bios's ??

All attitude and not a shred of common sense.

Need to ask if anybody else is experiencing crashing (bsod)with these drivers ????

I was running the 81.94 without any problems on my SLI setup with a mild overclock on the cards. Ever since i installed the 81.95 3D2003Marks crashes (bsod) half way though. I tried it 3 times and it crashed the system everytime, so i left the cards at stock and it still crashes on me. I used Drive Cleaner when i uninstalled the 81.94!!!!!

I have since went back to the 81.94 and i have not had one crash (bsod)

Just wondering if anybody had this issue ???? Thanks

    Guys,

Be a good user and be fair to Nvidia and everyone here!

Whenever you bench a new driver, please use the original nvidia bios and at its stock GPU and RAM speedl!

That would give a more accurate and pratical scores and avoid any problem you might encounter with the new driver and save those few F**k words lol :D

I dunno what nvidia did with the 81.95's, but MSTS locks up on initialisation, it doesn't even get to the intro screen. Strange thing is that the 81.94's work perfect.

Oh well, fix one thing/ break another

    Regards Mikaf1

I appreciate the sentiment, but I think it makes more sense that people post their results including whether they have overclocked or used different bioses so that others can track/troubleshoot problems arising from similar configurations. Some drivers limit your oc more than others, and this is valuable info as well.

I have my 6800GT overclocked to 412/1120 and use the same oc for all benchmarks, so the scores are consistent (which is really what I think you have in mind by "accurate" since everyone's rig is different).

what happened to the SLI supprt for NFS most wanted....?!?!?!?!......no SLI for NBA LIVE 06.....WTF?!?!?!?!..............cmon nvidia get on top of it...not everyone only plays the popular games.......besides the lack of SLI support, decent drivers, no problems here, same as 81.94.

    Hi Kovboi,

No offence intended!:D Just my 2 cents!

    Cheers!:p

OK, tried 81.95 and I must say it's another rocker from Nvidia! I'm on 81.89 now which is already quite impressive, and now, I can confidently "upgrade"to 81.95 which is even more impressive lol!

    Good driver indeed! ;)

PS: Talking about 6800GT, it's those one of a kind's super card! Not much of issues and comparbility problems with any drivers at all!
