    The 80.40 makes games more realistic.
    The helmets off the soldiers in 3DMark05 shine a litte more... :p

    I removed previous drivers with driver cleaner, and then rebooted, and installed these ones, dont know what problems people are coming up with but, for me these are keepers :D

    It is a good driver for me in 3DMar05:
    XG77.62 -> 3596 (and some older 7x.xx drivers it was 35xx)
    80.40 -> 3699
    During the test I felf that 3DMark05 use HDR rendering (I know it don not use), os the IQ is better...
    I have read somewhere that the 8x.xx serie will support the dualcore CPUs. I don not know that this driver is optimised for the dualcore CPUs or it will be later. And I don not know that this dualcore optimisation will help for the systems with HiberTradyng supported CPU, or not, but I think that it could impove my 3DKark points.

    I downloaded these but havent installed them. I am getting tired of switching drivers every couple days. They don't sound like anything special so i'llprobably just delete the file.

    type services.msc into the run box, click OK, look for NVIDIA Display Driver service, double-click on the service and from the drop-down box select disable

    and also some C51 ???? i think a future mobile chip.;)

    40.1 is the Ultra, now look at the 7800 GTX entry...

    my bet, the 90.1 is the entry for the 7800Ultra...

    was gonna post the answer but you all beat me to it! lol...

    anyhow... on my 2nd day and still no BSOD or issues whatsoever... if anything stopping that service from booting has actually sped up my boot time... + accessing and saving nvidia driver settings has sped up as well... of course if another version comes out as longa s that nvidia driver service doesn't error I probably would let it run...

    my friend played HL2 and BF2 with these and saw no issues... could just be he is lucky... I'm anxious for a official release of this build... its been 2 days... come on Nvidia... where is the next driver :)

    Totally screws up World of Warcraft. Text is all jumbled and large artifacts every now and then.
