So far much pretty stable, dirt 2 seems to have a boost, fallout 3 and Prototype works. Which means open gl, direct 11 and 9 works no lag windows is a bit smoother on boot and performance.

    Same thoughts.

Speaking about it being in Canada, I like live 3 - 4 city blocks from the AMD Markham building (formerly ATi Technologies' headquarters).

In reading about the Linux Catalyst drivers I thought I read something on one of the blogs about how they have rewritten much of the 2D part of the driver.

I'm wondering if that was only for Linux or if it also applies to the 2D performance under windows. (I need to go find it and re-read it again.)

If so then it would be PCMark and not 3DMark that would show the biggest gain with this driver. (Or maybe the 10.3 release.)

UPDATE: Nevermind... it appears to be a Linux only issue with the newest X version. OOPS. (And I don't see a "DELETE" on this forum.)

These have masseffect2 AA profile, which previous 8.70 don't have.

Infinite thanks and respect for first one who leaks/links info about the upcoming game profiles thing for CF (does it apply to single GPU as well? Can we make our own profiles easy and tweak them?):

Just did some quick tests, in parts of games where I have issues:

DiRT2: when crowd is set to ultra still a huge drop. Also still no watersplashes on the window + before entering water on a China map: Yong Yung sprint, it begings to lag and frames drop. Really really strange. And lagging with dust. I hate it.
Crysis: no differents when the sun for the first time comes up. In first level. When using the binoculars. Also when I got shot from the gunboat, still huge drops. When I start to fire, still 1 second freeze
CoD MW2: The Museum map still sucks. When leaving room 1 to room 3. Big strange drop.

Crysis is definitely not an ATI friendly game, never was. I remember when I sold my 8800gtx and bought 2 x 3870 cards and the game runned horribly compared to nvidia.
