Can you confirm that the 7970 can bitstream HD audio 7.1/dolby truehd/dts hd master audio? Connect to AV reviever? Thanks
all ati cards since the 5000 series have been able to do that. I'm using my 5830 in my HTPC to do that right now.
How do you configure it tho, not sure but it feel like mine is using 2-channel only when going thru HDMI to the big screen, got a DTS, DOLBY-LIVE, and what else there is-capable reciever with 5.1 speaker setup so it's kind of a waste
