If your doing it for DX10 you might wanna wait a couple months.[ As hilbert had this to say while reviewing the new ATI's]


"Also the 3870 cards are doing really well here compared to the 8800 GT. I did not include the DX10 results as quite frankly it's waste of time. We need next generation graphics cards to really deal with DX10".




If your doing it cause of FPS then go for it.You could get almost the same performance for about $50-$100 less depending on what you bought if you look at the ATI's:biggun:

DON'T EVER BUY AN 8800GT ,FX5500 IS ABOUT 78% FASTER IN CRYSIS . SORRY FOR MY BIG FONT .MY DESKTOP RESOLUTION IS 640 x 480 .WHEN I GET FX5500 I WILL CHANGE IT TO 1600x1200 .THE FX PREFIX MEANS IT IS SUPERB FAST FOR HD GAMING

Alright gents. Let's give the guy a break. Yes, it's not the smartest thing to post in larger-than-normal font sizes but, 20+ redundant posts later, I think we, and the OP, have gotten the message. And quite frankly, if he's held onto the 7900 this long, he might as well wait until the next-gen cards come out because even the 8800 GTX's can't handle a game like Crysis.

And hey Vinnie, I'm still waiting for you to admit that I was right.

@ OP, get the 8800GT or wait for the newer GTS (128SP). Either one would be a worthy upgrade.

I bought video card few days ago it INNO3D 8800GT OC 512Mb
Actually I don’t like INNO3D and I never buy in my life! But I give a try!:3eyes:

I was shock :eek3:and I only paid for $349 they are worth than buying a
8800 ULTRA for $900 or whatever! Score doesn’t make any diff.
