What's your problem, mate? Why are you so angry all of a sudden? :frown: Stop talking **** and stop repeating the same over and over again..... don't take things too personal. It's not good for your health. :)

Here, take the red pill.

With those clocks and pipelines it can't be any better than the current 6800gt/ultra can it?

I for one think its a good thing. It'll be a step on from my x800xl for the middle of next year. Glad agp is not yet dead. I'm sure that by Summer 06 there will be even more choice. Always thought it was a mental step to cut off the AGP market so quickly(bit like BTX which i am glad was not taken up as quickly). Still i am sure it moved a lot of pci-e boards. Looking forward to the reviews and the extra choice if its a winner.

this will really be helpful for those having the older p4 or the athlon64 754 socket mobo's with agp slot .... but wth .... nvidia's decision to not bring out an agp 7 series card was the first thing that made me change my mind and think about shifting to Sli .... So will i ......

7800GS is definitely faster than 6800GT. Remember, G70 core can be clocked around the 500mhz region so it will blow the 6800ultra away

well you are ass-uming thats the way it will be,lets see when they actually get released.

i doubt it will clock like you think just because they are probably chips that did not make it to 7800gt status,it will be just a gimped card that won't do what you think.

besides why do you think it's clocked at 350 on the core, you'll be lucky to get a 410 out of it stable if your lucky.

Do you guys ever read anything or just look at the name and then make your critique?

Seriously, anandtech already reviewed the 7800GS, and it was yes faster than the 6800u, but slower than the 7800gt by a little.

It was a good card. nVidia said it wouldn't be released though, hmm.

So how can you apply that to the 6800NU? Just because it had just pipelines cut doesn't mean it didn't clock well. There is a mini review out there showing 7800gs clocked at 490 matching a 7800gt

I know its going to cost like $600 because of the limited availability, its not worth it.. Im fine with my 6800 GT.

7800gs is faster then 6800ultra... changes in the core ensure this...
