i have never ever had a problem with any set... dunno why anyone does

but first i'll tell you that its probably coz the drivers are touchier then others to overclocking

Yes in the relaese notes it says 64bit support.Lock-on works great as well as videos, happy for now..spike:D I would use driver cleaner to rule out any other problems.

Average framerate in UT2K4 Unreal Bench went up by 2FPS, which is alot in a CPU bound game

    Flyff performance improved

Diablo 2 performance -TERRIBLE-, Massive lag all over

Battlefield 1942 performance about the same, IQ better

Project 64 N64 emulator graphics have DEFINITLY improved

    I'll test more later

I play BF2 all the time, and i havent noticed any texture flaws, how ever, right b4 i installed 77.72, i had the old driver b4 that, and i noticed as soon as i installed it over the old one ( i was lazy) i got shadow and texture flaws. So i became unlazy uninstalled the nvidia drivers, ran driver cleaner pro in safe mode, let it clean the driver.cab and sp1.cab and then installed these new ones and it is all good now. Guess overlaying files cause problems. Giev that a try and i bet it will fix it. GL:D

confusion... your happy with the drivers so you wanna buy one? Your 9800XT isnt shabby i used to have that too. I bought it to replace the fx5900ultra(crap) then got the 6800U. Always wise to game with nvidia!

what plugin are you using to see these results? do you use the standard Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 (assuming you use Project64 1.6)?

Hmm, these drivers didn't do anything for me except NFS underground 2 shuts down now. Triple buffering doesent work with vsync on or off I see no change?, I'll just wait until the xg 77.76 come out.;)

    Using Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 with Project 64 1.6

Using 2x SAL filter and Texture filter

Runs perfect, only game that still lags is Donkey Kong 2

Do you have the same problem of mine with NFSU2?!?
Description: When I add some road reflection details the game freezes after few secs. ... it seems like the cpu load goes to like 100% or something because if you sit there and watch it the screen moves very slightly every 30 seconds and then eventually it goes black.

I really can't stand it, do you?!

pfff x800 was bit a poor chipset, ATI is better but nvidia won due of the 7800 but the next gfx card from ati is going to beat them. plz note: ATI is faster on PS 2.0. in 2004 and in 2005 ATI PS 3.0. is will be faster then the 7800.

Btw: great driver. finally nvidia got there a$$ in the right track. and that gpu memory leak that was my card got mess up

Thanks for the reply, Valagard. What driver set were you using before to be able to see this increase in Project64 1.6 performance after switching to the 77.76 driver set?
