Considering the fact that the 7600GT will be running with a PCI-E--> AGP convertor and that the same convertor cost the 6600GT AGP, 10% performance loss to its PCI-E twin (of course it had 900MHz memory vs 1000, but I don't think this was much of a reason for the 10%), I expect the 6800U to be a bit faster.

Then it is the power requirements and the thin overclocking capabilities of the 6800 Ultra are not reasons that I would ignore myself.

I'd still rec a 7600GT. If I scored it I would give it a score of 10/10 too.

    Oh!!! My 500th post!!! Yea!!! Let's celebrate!!! :p :p

Defivinition you take that class too? :)

    EDIT:
Don't go with PNY like Dudecat64 said their warenty is for when the card is in production, But other manufactures like BFG or EVGA warrentys are for the life time of the product of the original owner.

i recommend the 6800U. why ? because of the 256bit mem interface! once you start to use AA the 128 bit 7600GT lags behind alot ;)

If you want the video processing unit on the card to work, get the 7600GT .. the 6800 series have a broken VPU unfortunately ... other than that, get the 6800U. i have one in my wifes PC and it plays all my games well with AA and AF @ 1024x768, and some games even 1280x1024 ...

considering how much of a power hog the 6800ultra is..even if its cheap, go for the 7600GT

How can you justify the 6600GT PCI-E had a 10% advantage over the AGP?
