If you work with ZiP files is a good CPU for you :)

Those cache increases are doing wonders.

I imagine the (de)compression benchmark would mirror some real work of a particular kind. Perhaps some kind of encoding or even compiling work. Otherwise not even one in a million PC user would keep running ZIP repeatedly all day long.

Will be a great CPU for Zip Simulator 2022.

So far energy consumption hunger for 13900k and the 4090 will be overall 691W...

Lucky you only need a 12600F and RTX 4060 for Gaming at 1440p.

You might want to consider 12700k. IPC is like 20%+ vs stock. Just disable the e cores and put a hefty oc on it and its faster than 12900ks in games.

I don’t understand the mind set of buying such a high-end cpu just to disabled features that you paid extra for. It’s like buying a super car and not even once giving it ago on track. 20 percent in what and again is the user going to notice outside of benchmarks…probably not.

He will have to use benchmarks to even see a difference even with a 3090... The 9900k is a Kickass gaming CPU and will be for years to come

Now if you want to go 1080p low setting with scaling bellow 100% just so you find that 20% ..... Sure :p

I wonder if the 9900k is bottlenecking the 3090 ti

Not the best car analogy, I think. You're much more likely to pick up a girl in your super car somewhere not on a race track, but good luck if your pick-up line in a bar is: "my new CPU can decompress 7-zips 60% faster". So a super car has added value even if you are not using it up to its full intended performance.

144hz 1440p or 4k not a chance if you want 360 Hz maaaaaybe . Maybe on eSports tittles like cs go too but literally we are talking about 400 vs 500 fps ..... So who cares ? The 9900 is still one of the top notch gaming CPUs

Yea I agree it’s not the best analogy and I get the idea that the Uber rich buy the cars to wage their dicks around but I’m sure the engineers that designed the car would disagree.

I don't see why you would even say that. It's called MB profiles... If you don't know already that disabling HT lowers latency that's your problem not mine. Just because you disable HT in the bios doesn't mean I can't re boot with a bios profile with HT on... You really think I'm that stupid? HAHAHAH ok. Also I have the hardware I speak of its all overclocked and water cooled I see the difference I'm a pro.
