Aite i kno its early but i wna see if all you agp users hav got performance increases or wat.
Sorry to say this but this driver will not work with AGP cards.
These cards are not even listed in the inf file.
Works fine on my x1950pro AGP
But not on the HD series
yea works with my card too, i havent tested thouroughly but thers a slight stutter decrease in crysis, any1 who plays crysis on agp post back.
Yes, please give input! I've had horrible times with the 7.10 drivers with Gow and ET:QW not being playable and would like to know if 7.11 could help in any way...........
hey syphon howz tha performance on crysis on ur rig since its similar 2 mine.
Runs flawlessly, bout time.
Not sure man i dont play crysis only the demo i played sorry but i play COD4 and they work well
7.11 not working on my system
aircool, wat cpu socket is your motherboard?
This driver actually has support for the HD 3800 series, unlike the 7.10 driver.
I notice that some games run slightly faster than they used to and even if they don't they are more stable.
Works fine here, performs much like the Crysis hotfix drivers.
You could just google my mobo, its skt 775.
The 7.11 driver still does not work! Since and including 7.9 it fails to open 3D graphics even after a fresh install of Windows XP. 7.8 still works all right. The card is a Radeon X850XT AGP with 256MB.
ffs your card is ancient history
Maybe, but its still no slouch in recent games. I.E; F.E.A.R for example.
did u take a look on fear perseus mandate graphic detail? :eyes: even quake1 looks better
it still uses the bloody engine like the time when first Fear arrived and i was playin it on ati9550
Im refering to the original fear, game.
I'm anxious to hear about this too.
I have an x1950Pro AGP, and I tried the Crysis hotfix a couple days ago, and it did not work for me, at all (I posted about it elsewhere, but long story short, the hotfix resulted in anything, even 2D stuff, to run horribly slow. eg. right-click context menus on my desktop would take 2 or 3 seconds to draw).
So I unstalled and went back to the previous drivers, 7.10... which I'd read previously don't work with AGP cards... yet they seem to work fine for me.
Only issue I'm faced with at the moment is that after installing the hotfix, the process of unistalling and going back to 7.10 got a little squirrelly ... I'm still not entirely sure everything got done properly, as I no longer have the ATI uninstall utility listed in my add/remove programs panel... but that's another topic, for another day, once I decide I want to try the new driver. (because as it is, I'm not sure how I'm going to uninstall my current drivers to get a clean install >_< )
