6970 crossfire poor performance

    sapphire 6970 1.5 crossfi
    cinebench gives me a 14 to 23 fps, isnt that terrible for 6970's? using 11.11 catalyst and cap2

    sapphire 6970 1.5 crossfi
    2700k @ 5ghz, just bought these from 580 sli, and wayyyyyy slower, something has to be wrong >?

    nothing strange here as 6970 is slower than a 580, the 6970 can be put in front of the 570 sometime slower sometime faster depend on the game. I think you should read review before changing your config, you know there is a site called guru3D with good hardware review ;)

    well when i run cinebench in fullscreen i get in the 60's, whatever sense that makes, in window mode it was like 14 to 22 weird !!!

    I let the Benchmark run without maximize Window and i get 59.81


    I use 11.11b with newest cap
    RadeonPro installed

    If i install new driver i uninstall the old, booting save mode (f8) and run atimen driver cleaner. After then i install the new driver.

    I have a old Gigabyte ga-ma78gm-s2h v1.1 with 8gb ddr2 1066 from gskill, really ****ty i know.

    Maybe you try this way and check out the newest intel mainboard driver.

    lol, crossfire only works in fullscreen mode.

    and of course you get less FPS with the 6970's as they are weaker than 580's.

    this is all common knowledge.

    i have one suggestion i had poor performance and didnt know what was going on used driver sweeper and all my problems went away
