Hallo people, I'm getting a second 6970 for crossfire today, and want to know what driveres people are playing with for Battlefield 3! Want as much as possible Fps in that game, because i play competitive Please let me know.., right now im running with 11.11C performance driver which give me the best single GPU performance. I've tried every official and unofficial beta and non-beta for the past 6 months or so, and the one that has consistently given me the best performance on my 6990 is the AMD Catalyst 12.x (8.95 January 24) Unofficial BETA for some reason, this is the only version that plays BF3 completely smoothly and does not have the bug where the idle clocks are stuck at full speeds on the desktop. Other versions, most notably the unofficial betas released in February play BF3 smoothly but leave the idle clocks at full speed which I do not want
I use the latest official drivers from the AMD website including the latest official CAP's. I play BF3 and they work fine.
What gpu usage do you get..? When playing with 1 GPU i get usage of 95% When playing with crossfire on, i get 35-40 on both cards... but fps in bad compared to single GPU?? What can be wrong? Is it my CPU who i bad? AMD 965 Phenom 2 X4 3,8 GHz? running on a Corsair 750 TX PSU? Don't get it.. have tried alot driveres for now -.-
I have crossfire 6970, and Battlefield 3 use 99% charge of the two gpu's. I have a 12.3 catalyst + 12.2 cap1
Do you have CAP drivers installed? what is your in-game settings and what is min/max FPS? I have 5870 CF and I am kinda giving up on getting BF3 to work in CF, tried, 12.2 with latest caps, 12.1, 11.12 w/CAP3, 11.11, 11.10 nothing works, each driver installation is done with safe mode and driver sweeper then ATIman Uninstaller. AMDDDDDDDDDDDDD :bang:
