560 Ti has a better price/performance ratio, PhysX and can be OC'ed to GTX 570 perf. HD 6950, on the other hand, can be unlocked to HD 6970 and has 2GB VRAM which can help at highier resolutions.

You're comparing HD 6950 to a MUCH cheaper GTX 560. And OP is talking about GTX 560 Ti...

Why not wait until the next generation of cards come out, your 460 should do fine until then. Going to a 560 is not a quantum leap.

yeah i guess that wouldn't be a bad idea.. I'm looking to be able to play SWTOR without any disruptions. Hopefully next year there will be a decent amount of cards coming out.

So going to a 560ti isn't that much of a jump?

    So how about 2 460's ?

    You'd be better off just sli-ing instead of getting a 560ti, it'll perform similar to a 580

Without giving anything away, I've played SWTOR on the beta and I had no problems with my card at all so neither should you.

now I just went the other way, from a single 560ti to 5850's CFX and I'm seeing a nice boost

SLI would be the way to go.
When the GTX 600 or the HD 7000 release, just sell the 2 460s and grabe some nice 6xx!
