Hi there, need a little help here. I can't do anything about OC with my 690. The problem : I can't get the 690 working with the 1.3V mod (including LLC hack). If I use it, I got random crash, even without OC : youtu.be/OQb47BLh5tk
Everything work fine if I don't use the mod. I tested everything I can : modded vbios, stock vbios, W7, W8, older drivers, SLI off.. nothing works.

Start from the beginning.
Have you applied successfully the KGB mod?
I've used KGB and KBT, but I'm able to permanently eliminate the throttling only with KBT.
The strange things is : with NvidiaInspector, if I lock the "Performance Level" to P2, it eliminate the crash. Stable at 1228 MHz. Not a good solution but it work..

I have never used KPT so i dont know anything about it and i cannot help you with that.
However all i have used is KGB, Alteration of .cfg files in MSI AB, Zawarudo tool for LLC and few strings of text in .bat file.
Throttling can be eliminated using better cooling or changing the setting in MSI AB .cfg.....UnofficialOverclockingMode to 2.

IMPORTANT! What cooling are you using for your 690?

Average 50° (with pump and fan @ minimum), at 1228 MHz 1.3V. Ambient temp is 26°. 5H of Crysis 3 2560x1440 non-stop, no crash, no freeze, no artefact. Realy strange.

You can eradicate the throttle with this guide. Open your stock bios and edit the Power Table like the guide.. voila.
Ok your cooling is fine which is good!
I dont need to use KPT as i have everything working perfectly, check out this video, my games all run stable for hours and hours at 1359mhz. I could probably take it higher but i dont want to take the voltage any higher for 24/7 use. I do not get any throttling!
If there is anything else that you need help with let me know because im not sure what the problem is that your having.
1372mhz at 1.4v.
Not much of an increase but everybit counts.
Keplar cards 1.3 -1.6v on the fly!
GTX 690 clocked at 1372 and 1359, no throttling on ARMA 3. Been playing for about few hours with no problems.
Two short Videos merged into one video.
Will try for 1398! Should be possible with a slight nudge in voltage to around 1.44v-1.45v.
At 1.48v i get serious throttling issue on GPU1 which means to me that the circuitry is hitting its maximum threshold.
There is a reason why this card cost me alot of money because it is made up of the finest vrms and circuitry as im able to push it quite far.
I do not know anyone on any forum that has a 690 anywhere near this speed with custom water setup.

I have one EVGA GTX 690 and 3930k
I already made KGB and AB Hack, so in my AB im running right now at:
- Core Voltage: 1300 mV
- Power Limit: 130 %
- Core Clock: +196
- Memory Clock: +500
I have micro and GPU watercooled with Heatkillers waterblocks, enough rad and 2 serial D5 pumps.
So, were im lost: Ive seen some 3d mark 11 benchmarks around the web with ppl using the same hardware as me, and u ppl with the gtx 690, but all have higher scores in 3d mark, and actually all of u have higher values in ur Memory bus clock.

1. You should be able to push your power limit to 150%.
2.Also download the Zaruwardo LLC tool and run it and then hit the redbox.
Tell me what your voltage is reading in MSI AB which you have to enable in the settings.
Let me know when you have done these 2 steps successfully.
@Veteran, since yesterday i tried everything, fresh install of AB, Zarando, edited 100 times the .inis, everything. When i click "Check LLC Status" in Zarando tool it returns 00, so is working, but when I click "Enable LLC mod on 2+ GPUs" or I apply some Voltage, it just doesnt make anything in the Voltage in AB. Ive done this already thousand times, started everything with Admis rights... Im starting to think that is Windows 8.1.
My AB voltage is in 1300 mV and the Power Limit at 150 %. And Im using AB 4.0.0, is the latest version atm, 'cause i couldnt use older versions..

update: i was using Sawarudo version that needed ABbeta18, and now i found one that needs ABbeta19, it stills doesnt work, but i presume there might be a newer version for windows 8.1..
You dont need to read that thread....
Its working fine, its meant to return a 0, once this happens it means all is good. You dont need to apply voltage here just use it for LLC only. MSI AB should give a voltage reading of 1.306 (690 only) but other cards get a reading of 1.325 which is fine. Now that you have that working ok here is the .bat file.
Copy and paste this line into a text file and then name it .bat at the end then run the file.
"c:\program files (x86)\msi afterburner\msiafterburner.exe" /sg0 /wi3,20,21,2B /wi3,20,D2,7A /wi3,20,D3,7A /sg1 /wi3,20,21,2B /wi3,20,D2,7A /wi3,20,D3,7A
The above line of text will give you 1.35v provided you have run the LLC tool (Zaruwardo).
I recommend you start here first, make sure its working by reading MSI AB realtime voltage which you have to enable in the settings to see it correctly.
Here are the Hexcodes that i found that will save you alot of time and effort and potential damage to your card. Never run the card at over 1.45v i have found, at 1.48v i hardcrash so the circuitry fails on my card at this voltage.
I run at 1372mhz at 1.42v, works great.
Make sure your cooling is running well because on an air setup this will destroy your card and as always you use at your OWN RISK.
However i have not had any problems whatsoever.
Also go into MSI AB install location and fine 2 files (one in the root and one in the profiles folders) called MSIafterburner.cfg and find Unofficialoverclocking mode and set this to number 2. This will stop any throttling.
Make sure you have these settings also.
The voltage that you should see is 1.35v and make sure you have installed MSI AB to its default installation folder as this is the path i have if you look at the .bat file location.
@Veteran, thanks for telling me that i shouldnt read the 120 pages thread, i was at page 64, and actually i found some guy who the tool didnt work neither in Windows 8.1, i asked help there
and they told me to use RBBY's tool instead.
Well, i did what u just told me here, but i get only 1.344 mV, so there are some 0.06 mV missing
Don't worry about the extra 50mv or so, it shows that its working, try doing the voltmod without llc tool and with llc tool and you will see the difference.
Rbbys tool is similar and goes up to 1.5v max. I have never used rbby' tool because I've not needed too.
Now you can apply more voltage using the hex conversion that I provided you with, tread carefully.
At 1.35v you can bring your core clock to over 200!

Is true that i can fin everything here, but i still dont understand this simple question: What do i need to raise the "Memory bus clock", couse my 3d mark 11 score still scores 1,652 MHz, look http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/8693364, and one guy had 3,559 MHz....... Please can u help me answering that question?
This is the setup i have now.... The score in 3d mark 11 actually underperformed, the same when playing BF4. In BF4 i have around 40 fps and peaks to 15 fps!

Cmgver the person that had a high memory clock was probably using liquid nitrogen. Increase you overclock on the core until you find instability and then bump the voltage up
For those still into this... I am having 1463,2 MHz core on 1,35v. On water of course!
