I was wondering if anybody knew about the difference in performance of the two cards in 1024x768 (max res my monitor goes). From what i think there shouldn't be much, does anyone know?

There is only a small difference between these cards...but I prefer the 6800 with more pipes!.

why?: the 6800 has more pixelpipes and is faster with antialiasing and af!

Thanks i probably get the 6600gt because its £25 less and its in stock. Also i really need to get the card working first time and the 6800's seem to have problems.

I just got a 6800le and it was broken, and i'm in the process of returning it.

  4. get a 6600 GT for those resolutions.... a 6800 would be a overkill even with AA and AF on.....

My first GT was broken (PNY sucks!!!), second was gainwards whit temperature sensor problem... my second gainward works really well (as gainwards always does).
