cyberfredxxx yes, http://www.guru3d.com/imageview.php?image=41828
here you can see, other games too
yes it is I mean slightly
That's fine and all, but for someone who wants more from a card at that moment, waiting isn't really going to help is what I'm saying.
You could wait forever, and keep saying. Ehh the next gen...ehh...the next gen. But if the OP keeps doing that, they'll never get a new card.
Finally remembered My password so i could login on my iPad!!! Just Wanted to share
Oh and the 660ti is worth getting over a 560 if you find yourself fiddling with the settings in every game.
I'm with you!
I'm not at all impressed with the benchmarks, I believe only a 670 or a 680 would be a worthy upgrade to my 560Ti OC. But, then I've just upgraded my video card, and you know, money doesn't grow in trees!
I'll wait for the next generation (Geforce 7XX and Radeon HD 8XXX) to pick a new card. My PC is fine to every new game that comes this year or so.
Some of you guy's are just unbelievable a 660ti is not close to three time faster than a 560ti is is close to double the speed of a 560ti at best.
Linus made a video review and those were the final results, see it for yourself
480 would perform a bit better but would not really be the greatest upgrade it would be just a bit better than a side grade when all things are considered. That being said the GTX 480 is on sale here http://www.evga.com/products/prodlist.asp?switch=20 for $180 and at that price as long as you're PSU is up to the task it would be a good deal however just make sure you are aware of the caveats that come with owning a GTX 480.
Link please ...
NO just NO
560ti is typically about half the performance of a 660ti.
Linus was having perhaps hardware and or driver/software issues with that 560ti it was under performing for unknown reasons.
He must have been. Because 22FPS on a 560ti on DX11 Ultra with only MEDIUM motion blur @1080p?
I got better than 20FPS avg (not much though)@1080p with everything on Ultra and beyond with Maldo's HRTs
With a 460 V1...
The only reliable way to bench C2 anyway is with Crysis 2 Benchmark Tool in my experience with the game.
the 660ti about on par with a 580 from almost every review of the card i've seen(In average game performance). So it will be faster than a 560ti. But no where NEAR 3X as much. Or even 2 times except in the texel rate. (Which even then doesn't make sense because the 580 beats out the 660ti in nearly every area in specs http://www.hwcompare.com/13161/geforce-gtx-580-vs-geforce-gtx-660-ti/)
selling a 480 if u want it :]
Hmm interesting. Even though the games he tested with might be different you could look up Linus' reviews on the 560ti and make comparisons that way.
not really a good upgrade from a gtx 480 really.
