To give an opinion on the SHAROTH score being low..

He is using an AthlonXP 2400. I think you will find that the folks getting 20,000+ scroes are using Athlon64 processors or high end P4s.

I haven't benched yet but I bought the Steam DL of HL2 which includes CS:S yesterday ans don't have any white lines.
My friend has a BFG 6800 Ultra OC and he doesn't have them either.
I'm curious to know what this 'white line' problem is...

We played CS:S together from about 11:30pm till about 5:45am and we both have the newest 'WHQL' 66.81 drivers installed.

I believe the white lines show up if you turn on AA or AF to a certain degree. Remember 6xAA = no AA in CS:S for some reason.

I am thinking...are people getting no lines because they did a recent reinstall of steam or something?

Nobody noticed the shimmering in CS-source VST on the walls in the room with the videoscreens? It is quite noticable, with quality set to high quality in driverpanel it is a bit less , but still there. On 1024 4xAA 8xAF .

doom 3 play much more smoother with this drivers, (i had 66.70 beta) i still get the same frame per second in the timedemo
74fps 1600x1200 but for some reason with the old drivers, the game used to drop the frame rate a lot, but this time around is smooth, and rarely frame drop below 60fps. (with vsync on) NFSU is also much smoother, there were certains part of the city streets where the game FPS use to drop by half , now it only drop to about 10%. i'm loving them. no bugs on all my games what so ever.

These drivers suck. Everquest 2 runs like ****.

    Better IQ though.

I get a nice css boost with these drivers. About the white lines, I had them so I turned aliasing and filtering off and they went away. Today I tried the game again with them on and the lines weren't there... I don't understand what's going on but it's obviously some bug. I tried to play a game of warcraft today and I locked up for the first time every on this machine. I guess these drivers need some work. I'm going to go back to 6177 for now. I'll bet when these are offically released they will own.

To fix the white line problem just Alt+Tab out of the game and then return to it, no more White lines.
