What do you mean beta? is it ok to download it or I should wait .Are you using it now? Dose it work "OK"?
is there a read-me , to show improvements fixes??
They are OK!. They work OK! to.
Ah, I anticipated this, but I was hoping it was retail. Oh well.
Catalyst Beta 6.10 Display Driver
Radeon® X1950 series
Radeon® X1900 series
Windows XP Professional
Windows XP Home Edition
X1950 support at last. Seems like these also have that Stream computing technology ATi recently announced.
I've only ran one game since installing them. No problems what so ever. I have a X1600 Pro with windows Pro. Install went good as well.
Cool support for FaH, will wait a couple weeks for the official release.
Just DLing them now to see what their like!
HDR+AA works fine in Oblivion.
do they fix the caesar iv crashing bug?
Yup, the chuck patch has been integrated into these... nice drivers
Cool. So whats the crossfire performance like? Any good? Can AFR mode still be forced by pushing catalyst AI slider to advanced?
I smell 6.10 omega!
Crossfire performance is very good, they are working great. And yes, u can still force AFR through the Cat AI, for any game. Oblivion uses AFR by default now anyways, so u wouldnt need to for that.
Is this just the driver or does it also have the CCC?
CCC is included.
so anyone with a x1950xtx tryed these drivers ? john ?
Yep, these work fine on the X1950XTX. No problems so far, tested a few games and everything seems to run flawlessly. Looking forward the official 6.10's though. About time the X1950XTX gets official support
Edit: I have not compared these to the ones that followed my card, which I believe are modified 6.8's. I installed these right away, so I'm not sure if they actually score higher.
do these just add a folding home cleint for ATI cards or are there any more fixes??
