Hello there. I like spending money. So, I have a; 6800XT, 5800X3D, 16GB Crucial 3600 CL16 DDR4 WD 500GB NVMe thingy. Pure gaming here; would any one think it's worth going to X570? Or stay on the B550? Looking for a few thoughts! Cheers.
Most X570 boards have that stupid chipset fan. Unless you buy an S version which is expensive. I believe B550 boards don't have or need that tiny fan on the south bridge or north which ever it is. That's why i got the Gigabyte Master X570S. Back in the day i had one of those pesky little fans die on me which killed the whole board but that was when a decent mobo was £60.
You cant hear the fan on x570 actually its not even on unless it chipset gets to certain temperature. Get a x570 if you need more pcie lanes and more than one gen4 nvme drives.
X570-A PRO great, complete and cheap, about the chipset fan you can't even hear it and it has Zero Frozr technology, it's worth it
