5770 hawk x-fired vs sapphire 5870 vapor-x

    well title says it all after a week i'm still not sure which i should get 2 hawks 5770 or 1 5870 vapor-x (1gb version)

    not planning to buy another 5870, by the time i'm gonna update pc again atleast2 new generation will be launched.

    anyone can help me decide?

    other hardware i'm getting with those gpu's:

    case: haf - 932
    mobo: igabyte ga-890gpa-ud3h
    processor: 1055t x6
    ram: kingston hyperx 4gb (2*2b 1600mhz)
    cpu cooler: noctua nh-d14
    power supply: cooler master silent pro m700

    2x MSI 5770 @ 910
    Go for the 5870. Less headache with drivers and games since some don't support CFX.

    hd 5770 crossfire cost about 330usd and the hd5870 420usd, there is the difference but i would go for one big car instead of 2

    yeap,me too... go for the 5870 and you wont have problems with crossfire and like ndude555 said,some games dont work with crossfire... and btw nice sistem you got there,i am amd/ati fan and am dreaming about that computer right now... :p

    I was in the same situation as you.
    And I wanted to do crossfire, but I didn't want to bother with the hassle ultimately.
    I got the 5870, and I'm very happy with it and it performs great, no driver issues, no temp issues just works.

    There are very few games that profit a few fps with crossfire.

    if budget is not an issue you are best of with the 5870... I'd actually get 2 GTX 460s at that price range, but that's up to you....
