    Hello, followed all steps, including DDU and driver crashed to BSOD about a quarter of the way through install.

    Used NVCLEAN Install with same result.

    Finally downloaded the full driver from nVidia and install completed.

    No idea why.

    Do you use NVCLEAN Install or other method to clean your driers?

    Hello, thank you for the great drivers.
    Because I'm still using Pascal GPU i want to use particular version of the drivers, but cannot reach them in the "Clean Driver Archive" Mega.nz page. Some of most recent driver releases have statuses of "undecrypted folder" and cannot be downloaded. Is this a bug or something?

    Since post 511.79 versions, i can't install Nvidia drivers anymore, why, i'm waiting the 4070 to ship in a few days !!

    First version i had the problem, setup didn't react (it's the case again today), so i used official version and same thing occured (worse, setup files ere deleted), but 511.79 reinstalled allright just after, setup worked and all (NV CPanel...).

    Now i just found task manager installs the driver (the last 528.24), so am i good this way, all is installed correctly ?
    I done that after DDU uninstall !!
    Or : should i not uninstall 511.79 instead and directly update to 528.24 by task manager ?

    Please tell me ;)

    PS: and for NV CPanel, i ever had to copy the whole folder from "\.._WindowsApps\" folder to another folder because the original directory doesn't let me start the app, not a problem, the copy works.

    It's version is 8.1.940.0, any version update since (lovelace...!!) ?

    //

    WTF ? :

    https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/whrhzi/ysk_if_you_are_using_driver_version_51179_or/

    //

    511.79 - works like a charm
    512.15 - popups green NVidia splash, then closes
    512.95- nothing happens
    516.40- nothing happens
    516.94- nothing happens
    517.48 - window error (i know why : it has one missing file compared to others, it's NGXCorExt.dll)
    528.24 - nothing happens
    528.24 official - files extraction works, thanks god, exe when launched wipes folder's files, that's interesting... or not, it's something else...

    //

    OKAy, fixed by reinstalling Windows 10, BTW it was time.

    Not normal behavior as i have used this method (DDU uninstall, I have a GPO policy to not let Windows install any drivers for my GPU based on hardware ID, disconnect my network cable, install Eviltoasters clean drivers using clean install option and no HDMI/Sound driver update) for many, many years with no issue beyond some bad drivers that didnt like my system/setup and were less efficient so went back to ones that worked until news seemed as good or better.

    There should be no BSOD from these as they really just remove most of the telemetry.

    Good luck though!
