    Thank you for the effort buddy.

    P.S.
    Tested the latest hotfix on GTX 1060 laptop - works perfectly.

    Fully remove the DCH driver first, ideally with DDU, and only then after all of the restarts apply the standard driver.

    Make sure you follow the DDU process correctly and disable the internet connection.

    How do they differ from unmodded drivers? What exactly do they change? I can't find any info about them.

    Please discuss that somewhere else and keep the topic to actually relevant information.

    @fear029
    You can stick to whichever you want, preferably not here. In addition to that - don't compare a cleaned up driver package with an actual modded unsigned driver.

    I'm not here to blast drivers or shill which is best. I'm here to give out information on which works best and hope that it helps others. I have no allegiance to anyone or thing. If one is better than the other, I will use it.

    Wonderful, use it. However don't compare an unsigned modified driver, with a cleaned-up Nvidia driver package which is still signed and merely lacks the bloat it comes with. Those are two different things, apples, and oranges.

    So I updated to 456.71 today because well, security fixes, but it's been a few versions since (I do my own cleaning btw), and noticed some new files/plugins that were not found in previous versions of the drivers, wondering if you guys know what these files do (or should I say did, lol), I've already removed them and everything is running perfectly clean and normal like always... but anyways the files in question.

    DisplayDriverRAS = Is old news and gone.
    NvProfileUpdater = Old news and gone, etc.

    NvTopps = New! Whats dis?
    WksServicePlugin = Another new thing! Whats dis again?

    Also notice some random ass files such as:

    MessageBus.dll
    messagebus_client.conf
    nvgwls.exe
    nvtopps.db3

    Either way, things work as always without them, but I'm curious what their purpose were.

    I'm curious as to whether anyone has maintained and or updated the list for those of us who 'want to do it themselves?'

    I saved the original list into a doc and it still works and I am only left with;
    https://i.**********/34gYG7C8/Clipboard05.jpg

    Do we need the NvModuleTracker folder?

    Are there any further changes to the config file that need to be made?

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
