    I translate portuguese to english:

"much thanks! but the change of the steps (forceware to driver - english):
right click botton “icone nvidia” in the bar Start - > click “nvidia display” - > refresh rate overrides - > chooses 50 Hz of any resolution - > I get to work in any fullscreen gaming! :D ;)
50 Hz + 50 frames per second = without frame-to-frame (up to infinity fps real - eyes move up to maximum fast) only for eyes move :D ;)
    60 Hz + 50 fps = with frame-to-frame only for eyes move."

    - should be higher Fps/Hz = better viewing - any game performance without limit: half life 2, gtr, far cry, 3dmark any year, etc.
    - shouldn´t be higher Fps/Hz = (nor) better viewing - any game performance with limit: sensible soccer 2006 (up to 50 fps), pes 3, 4 and 5 (60 fps), ford racing 2 (60 fps), doom 3 (60 fps - default), etc.
in case of "frame-to-frame", I recommend to reduce to any (down to 50) Hz! ;)
    good luck!! ;)

without frame-to-frame (up to infinity fps real - eyes move up to maximum fast) only for eyes move. - you don't forget: only for vsync is enabled

Think of it like the PAL interface capped at 50Hz. It is better to run VSYNC with it with a 50Hz cap refresh rate than with a 60Hz refresh and 50FPS cap with the game. He is simply trying to get better stability and smoother picture quality. He is just looking for more consistancy with his picture that's all.

Then you should have a refresh rate that's as high as possible. No game displays a constant framerate, there are always fluctuations.
If you refresh rate is higher you will get less tearing, and you won't notice these fluctuations a lot as long as the framerate is capped.

The best thing to do for best picture quality is tripple buffering + Vsync.

With this you get framerates that aren't cut in half, no tearing, and you won't get headaches.

your refreshrate in games are different than your desktop, you all dont realize that all your games run at 60hz unless the option is presented in the game

run dxdiag. go to more help tab, then override, change it from 60 to other frequencies. =D im gonna make a new topic and u should all make it a sticky

    WRONG

the refresh rate is the same as the desktops rate.

the main bug here is that MS got gay and didn't include the optimal setting for refresh rates in the nt core.

    here use this

    I start the new.reg again.
but where's "the overrides tab should re-apear"? in new cp?

    start -> control panel -> control panel nvidia -> ...?? -> overrides (-> ...)
