5.8 X800XT colour correction and HL2 issue

    hi guys,

    i have a X800XT and i use colour correction to add gamma to my games due to a poor monitor, but the colour adjustment doesnt work with HL2/CS:S works with BF2 and everything else ive tried.

    just doesnt change anything when change the settings. :(

    any help would be great

    dosent HL2 have an ingame gamma bar?

    yes but its not enough to get the screen right :(

    What about adobe gamma correction? I use it and it work ok. though it set the gamma for eveything.

    Look for GSettingControl inside the registry and try to modify it to 1 or 0.
    This key may exists in few places inside the registry, make sure to modify them all.

    Sorry for my late reply.

    Adobe gamma correction came with Adobe Photoshop as standard install app.

    I dont know if it will work on its own. It dose however make things look more colourful. Kinda like DV for nvidia cards.
