In an effort to improve the clean driver, I would like to ask your opinions on the following:

NVIDIA as of late continues to add all forms of telemetry into their drivers (One of the main reasons why I'm not providing DCH versions), and while the standard cleaning method does remove 95% of bloat, there are still some tracking/data collection features left within the driver .DLL files.
There are multiple ways to remove those tracking features, however, all of them result in a driver becoming not digitally signed. Which results in a message like this during installation,
    [IMG]
as Windows thinks driver was tempered with, while in reality, the only thing that was changed/removed is the dll file.

Due to this, realistically (at least for now, who knows what will they come up with in near future) there are 3 options:
    1) Keep everything as is.
    2) Clean driver with dll files cleaned - but it won't be digitally signed
    3) Optional feature: Optional section in the OP with cleaned .DLL files in an archive that you will have to copy/paste over the latest extracted clean driver folder.

Please give your opinions in this Poll.

    And thanks a lot!

You could always get the best all all three options. Integrate the option, and add a check box to your app that, when checked by the user, will automatically replace the DLL's in question.

Yes, the only problem being that I have no knowledge on such development neither time to spare on researching a solution such as this one. But if you have some ideas, please feel free to PM me, and we can discuss the details.

You might honestly be better off waiting a week after each release for the inevitable hotfix, just so you only have to tinker with the packages *once*.

Isn't that a retired OS (out of support for regular editions and personal uses)?
