I can't get this one to download via update and am on 20h1. Do I need to use DCH drivers?
Yes, Nvidia is moving away from the standard drivers.
If you try to download the latest non-20h1 drivers from their website, the default option offered is DCH, the standard ones have been hidden away.
this version is dch only, get it @mediafire or chef koch
Windows version 2004 has reached RTM status will the driver come out for it?
I presume yes, very soon we will see an official nvidia supported driver, but it may take a while yet. maybe a few more leaks like this one in between
First post, sorry.
Anyone using these 445.23 drivers for 20h1 on a 4k monitor noticed sharper/cleared text than with the latest official drivers 441.66? I installed the drivers last night on my 20h1 install before going to sleep, and today when I turned my computer on, the texts on my screen seem sharper than usual.
could be the image sharpening thing got enabled somehow. If it is all the same to you, accept it as it is.
I'm happy with it and Image sharpening is off in the Nvidia control panel.
I was/am using Cleartype grayscale since it looks sharper than the rgb Cleartype on my screen, but today when I turned my computer on everything looked sharper/clearer than usual. I looked up online but I couldn't find anything online about wddm 2.7 sharpening text, so I wasn't sure if it was me or the drivers did improve text rendering.
Text looks the same on my 4K screen, I noticed that something must have changed with HDR though.
The desktop looks slightly less washed out, probably they modified the way Windows maps SDR content within HDR color space.
HDR games and HDR content with proper metadata looks great as usual.
Tomorrow can this driver come out officially?
This driver will probably be officially released when Windows 10 2004 is released to the public
Probably not as it's an ancient driver set already
I also hope that I am sure that this driver will appear on the official website of Nvidia soon.
20h1 drivers won't appear till march/april next year when the release is publically available.
Good i was thinking that i was the only one this drivers even on my 1080p display the colores more vivid. Beter light in gaming. So far so good.
The public final version of RTM 2004 3 is already signed and the driver should be released soon.
no it shouldn't.
I hope we get a new WDDM 2.7 driver for preview/slow/fast rings though with the changes merged from last public releases. I thought this driver already had the new LLM Ultra behavior (auto fps limiter for G-Sync+V-Sync) which seems to be more useful than this "hardware accelerated scheduling". I installed 19041.1 for nothing if I go back to 441.xx drivers.
Most likely it will. In the 440.23 driver, for example, there was no ultra low latency mode, and in 440.52 it was added. Then came the driver 445.23, where they added vulkan-1.dll (220.127.116.11.test.DevBuild) and Image Sharpening
This is the reason i didnt update to 20h1 yet, because its pointless until we get official nvidia wddm 2.7 drivers :/ (+ i want to see MS start to release updates for that build). Today there suppose to be new driver release for CES, lets hope with WDDM 2.7 support!
