the hardware accelerated scheduling setting resolves the age old problem of video playback in a mixed refresh configuration causing stuttering to a game on the main display.

ended up having to roll back. after installing this guy, any time my pc woke from sleep - it would hitch and behave all wonky. caused afterburner to crash/close too.

back to 441 and business as usual.

id imagine its due to me being on a non insider build /shrug

Since it apparently requires OS support, "normal" drivers for 20H1 are likely to get it, if they deem it stable, but not for older OS variants.

That's really good news. Once 20H1 (2004?) releases means I can add 2 60Hz monitors and extend the desktop space quite a bit. At least in case it works for Pascal as well.

After installing in Windows 10 1903 shows me the "balloon" that lack the nvidia control panel. And that I have to download nvidia panel from the Microsoft Store.

After installing the control panel, things seem to be running fine so far.

So, does anyone know if the latest WHQL driver 441.66 is better (or has newer components) than the 445.23 insider driver? I'm still running 445.23 on my main system.

So, now that win 20H1 is RTM, anyone using this driver with support to wddm 2.7? how is performance in sli, and in general? quote from the features:

    "
    WDDM 2.7[edit]
    Windows 10 20H1 (Version 2004) includes WDDM 2.7.

Available in Windows 10 Insider with Nvidia Driver 440.23/440.52/445.23 and Intel 27.20.100.7623 only, in insider builds starting from 10.0.18980.

    • Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling (An additional option in the system settings, which increases the minimum and average fps to reduce latency)(Requires a minimum version of shader model 6.3 in hardware from the video card)
    • Shader Model 6.5
    • DirectX 12 Raytracing Tier 1.1
    • DirectX 12 Mesh Shader
    • DirectX 12 Sampler Feedback: Texture Streaming, Texture-Space Shading
    • DirectX 12 Video Protected Resource Support"
this is the only driver than gpu z confirms can use this wddm.

I can't get this one to download via update and am on 20h1. Do I need to use DCH drivers?

Yes, Nvidia is moving away from the standard drivers.
If you try to download the latest non-20h1 drivers from their website, the default option offered is DCH, the standard ones have been hidden away.

I presume yes, very soon we will see an official nvidia supported driver, but it may take a while yet. maybe a few more leaks like this one in between

    First post, sorry.

Anyone using these 445.23 drivers for 20h1 on a 4k monitor noticed sharper/cleared text than with the latest official drivers 441.66? I installed the drivers last night on my 20h1 install before going to sleep, and today when I turned my computer on, the texts on my screen seem sharper than usual.
