Interesting post. I do not have the 'Windows Color System' in my Windows 10(latest version 18362.263) and running the 435.27 drivers. Although I do have the certain task under Task Scheduler, just wondering why I cannot see the service in 'services.msc'

I've done this and I'm great for almost a week now. No instabilities, everything is and looks great.

    Edit: Windows 10 18362.263

Glad to hear that. I am likewise testing this method for more than 3 weeks now. Not a single issue or crash with my workflows both on my work PC / laptop / home PC.

I'm thinking of integrating it into all future Clean Driver releases. Now I need to figure out how to explain to people the "missing digital signature" popup during installation. ;)

Maybe you could include the dummy file inside the .7z file and the end-user should just replace the original file themselves.

I was ironic...but somehow i think that all the point of WHQL certification become useless
Some of the problems of the released drivers are really easy to spot with proper testing, the pattern it's Buggy Driver release -> Hotfix next day
Do not seems so nice to me.

They could implement an Insiders Beta Driver and a Stable release one for example

A fellow SVP user? You, Sir, have a good taste. ;)

I can clean one for you in several hours, or you can refer to the bottom of the OP - there is a manual cleaning guide.
