I'm sure that once cryos hangover has dissipated we'll get the new version too

 

Spot on ... strong hangover + a new severe flu, is a fantastic combination.

I used this set and my DSR no longer functions. Going to try the full driver release and see what happens.

 

That's odd. Have you used DDU prior to the installation of a new driver?

 

I did 2 absolutely clean reinstalls. Going back to the 416.94s. As well I tried the full driver release in the post above, same thing. No more DSR.

Say by golly. Reinstalled the 416.94s and got my DSR back. Go figure. I may try to reinstall this driver set over top and not do a clean install. See if the DSR stays. What a pita.

 

Thank you for some feedback. Then it's something related to the latest driver. I can smell a hotfix coming this week again.

@ManuelG Would it be possible for you to take a look at it?

 

I tried to reinstall these new drivers over top without a clean install and again, DSR totally disappeared. Am I sad? Hell yeah. So back to the 416.94s till this issue is fixed. With the 34 LG monitor I have = LG 34UC79G-B, Gsync does work with the 417.71s. but I`ll take the DSR over Gsync usage for now till this is fixed.

My buddy as well has the same monitor using a stock 1080, and he has the exact same issue. No DSR. Plus at boot his keyboard doesn`t work and he cannot log into windows.

Hey buddy, is there any possibility of getting the links to your older driver releases?

 

I keep only current driver versions on my cloud storage.

However, if someone has massive cloud storage and wishes to keep a version archive I will be more than happy to organise that.

 

That's a bummer. I hope somebody would help us out, because some of us tend to go to back to an older version after having problems with the latest driver. I'm looking for the 416.94 version. If anybody got a link to that particular version, please help me out.

Worst case, you can always try to do your own driver slimming with the older ones (again)

 

There is a detailed step by step guide in the first post. Read it and do it.

It's not that hard really. The whole process takes a couple of minutes and works for any driver version.

 

Yep I know the steps. I used to do that by myself before finding about cryo's clean version. The thing is I want to save all the data I could at this point, cuz data packages are brutal in my country compared to the other countries.
